@MrFr1dom je ne réclame pas des pouces verts et si tu es pas content pas la peine de commenter vu que cela n'a aucun rapport avec la chanson =)
beautiful voice
I'm pretty sure that prediction is incorrect. :) And yes, I know this was filmed in 1999.
So beautiful.
@jajanb1 Yes it is in "Man write his History in the glass or in the stone", meaning stone for statues and glass for stained glasses windows of the cathedrals. At this time lot of people didn't write or read and History was shown in the statues and stained glasses. Our ancesters were artists !
@nuddelpowah french is one of two official languages in canada
there is no canada like french canada.
I can't stop listening!! amazing song!!
@jajanb1 I have the original cd with it's lyrics book that I bought in 1997 and it is clearly written "Dans le verre ou dans la pierre". It makes perfect sense because the cathedral were made of glass and stones. Building these cathedrals was the way humans wrote their history with glass and stone. Of course they didn't "write" in glass, you have to read between the lines :)
@horselove76500 Tu réclame pas de pouce vert cette fois? =D
@MrFr1dom ouah trop drole --"
@583Jan not "dans le verre" but "dans le vers" that means nothing to writing something in the glass.. (in that context^^)
and before he says " the artist of status unknown of the sculpure and verse" (artistes anonymes de la sulpture et de la rime ) that why, stone for sculpture and rhyme for poet who write verse and rhyme
so i think the real french word is not "verre" but "vers" and the correct translation is "rhyme"
@jajanb1 it's "dans le verre ou dans la pierre" so the translation is "in the glass or in the stone"
a bad translation when he says " dans le vers ou dans la pierre" mean " in the rhyme or in the stone" and not in the "glass" ...^^
WOW I'm speachless !!!
Thanks to this musical I've started to learn french. I must say it's pretty complicated language and very different from my mothertounge-polish. But it's worth it!
omg what beautiful voice!
@MsAsificare yes.
@MsAsificare the version is like ten years ago,and of course the best so far
How old is this musical? It's the original version, right?
@LadyDark000 It is a sung-through musical ; I guess that's what Italian people call an "opera popolare" ;)
est-ce qu'il etait vraiment fait en Quebec? c'est magnifique!
@LadyDark000 Depends on your definitions of both. It's entirely sung through if that's what you're wondering.
Can I ask a silly question plz? Is this play a musical or an opera?
