when i watch these two, especially in this clip, it makes me love being British with our 'British' sense of humour! only fry and laurie could be this brilliant!

@MistaBimBims You're right, Stephen Fry is too dark too be MJ.

This isn't Michael Jackson.

@drdisarper I can't say I'm not of the same mind....good lord<3

I was 8 years old for goodness sake, we've all changed. LOL

I'm not sure that that was the real Michael Jackson

OMG I just couldn't stop laughing the moment the camera switches to him on that treadmill! xD

My head just exploded

Nice moves

Love how he doesn´t look like Jackson at all :D btw what year is this?

I know a girl who looks like Stephen Fry in this sketch..

next time i'm on a night out, i'm gonna pull out some of those moves on the dance floor!!!!! (H) :D i <3 stephen fry

I don't feel like I should be attracted to Stephen Fry doing pelvic thrusts, but my God am I attracted to Stephen Fry doing pelvic thrusts.

This is the best. I'm sorry, anyone who thinks this is 'controversial' needs to step back. In 1990, Michael Jackson was just a famous singer. Just because he died weirdly doesn't mean any mention of him in history is 'controversial.' You want to know what IS controversial? If he hadn't died, he would still be a joke.

@sweet0surprise It's you sucking in the comment sections of a great video.

1:57 ... I love Laurie's geeky smile and laugh :') It's so cute! Also, why put so much effort into a moonwalk when Fry shows Britain how to do it so easily and effectivly!

This was done years and years ago, despite what anyone is saying about how bad it is and how disrespectful or whatever, 20 years ago was a long time ago, it can't be changed. It's just british sitcom humor, it's just what they did sometimes. They are all respected by millions of people all over the world, this 3 minute sketch shouldn't start arguments....The're not exactly serious or anything, really, they both probably see Michael as an inspiration, just like many others do:)

@AlexdDark Hmm, well that brings up another point. Should an artist approach any subject matter with the same attitude? It is delicate to question race and surgery. It is true that there are far more delicate subjects than that of Michael Jackson. AND they could have been more offensive. But MJ is a controversial subject! & so much can be said about him! This sketch has so little depth... It is only because I hold all 3 of these artists in high regard that I felt like commenting; my opinion.

@huntedrasta Okay, not that I've got any problem with you liking MJ, but, really, how is his subject so important and delicate? I mean, yeah, he is a good singer, a really good dancer, and, all in all, a pretty awesome person, but how, in context of making comedy, is his subject more important and delicate than any other subject? Sure, with his demise some amount of delicacy should be added, but this sketch was made over 20 years ago. He was just a performer at the time.

@kafata1 thanks for your positive-toned response. I'm sorry for my comment, I guess it was unnecessary. Peace!

@huntedrasta haha :) Of course I'm kidding. I mean, as a person I'll take Stephen or Hugh over anyone else any day of the week, but I don't actually think Stephen dances better than MJ :P

@kafata1 How can you write something so foolish? it must be some sort of joke. you are trying to express your support of stephen fry then. fine.

@AlexdDark I see. either way my initial point was not about whether it was a parody. it is that the subject of MJ being so important and delicate, and has been touched upon by so many great comedians and other artists, so its disappointing to see Fry & Laurie waste a sketch like this. Basically I found it unintersting, unfunny, showing little or no talent, and of course showing no respect. So anyhow, it is regrettable. Still really like these guys, don't get me wrong! Peace!

@huntedrasta Pray? What? Parody implies some sort of imitation. I don't see how they are really trying to look or act like him. They aren't exactly imitating him. They are commenting on his work and how it affects the world, yes, but they are also making a fairly ridiculous sketch, making more fun of themselves than doing a parody of MJ. It doesn't feel like a parody, not sure that it should be classified as one.

@AlexdDark Oh? then what is it, pray?
