@hbar1212 One of the most over-rated adages or saying is "follow your heart". a scripture says "the heart is wicked, who can know it?". If the heart says to "rob a bank" does one do it? You are correct, better to not follow your emotions and be safe.
I met a woman once and was nervous. She was beautiful but I am never nervous in those situations. Everytime I saw her I got the same feeling. I found out through a series of events that she was bad news. I hadn't got involved with her and was glad. I knew then why I was so nervous.
Oh yeah, that audience member is a freakin genius alright. Mind is negative lol
Maybe if it wasn't used as a garbage dump....
Shes great! I love how soothing even her voice is ,)
@drfreebs r.kelly (bump and grind) i guess no one got that lol
not judith, the girl up the street! :)
i love this woman too. lol. what if i like this woman so much i can't even see straight around her let alone talk to her, and that is NOT me. what kind of intuition is that... should i run away? haha.
Thanx for the helpful info Judith, but i am still trapped. I watched your many videos and as u said that we should listen to our body (regarding a particular situation), but in my case, my mind tells me something very strange, in sentences (like mind is a person and he speaks like humans), but not in feelings, and mostly the negative things or the things which could result in a loss or something like that but doesn't happen actually at the end. Could u plz help me on it?
@bestozesto "she's an intellectual yet very innocent"
Yeah, Dr Judith is kinda turning me on also...
8:40 haha, those pesky chronic simpsons...
I read your book Dr. Judith... very important info.... ever since becoming unemployed I've been reading a lot of different subjects... optimizing our own emotion to allow positive energy flow makes a whole lot of sense after we do a bit of unlearning certain things we learned that aren't completely discussed in school. It's something a person has to experience by feel as they learn about it, or else the concept won't gel. Hugg
very true, great advice......many thanks
If I listened to my body right now I would stop listening to your BS. !!
She's basing her whole argument on one instance...with one client who got cancer from not leaving her job. Seriously, get a better argument.
Am I to assume you have the ego and audacity to claim that because your body has certain reactions to others that means you can judge those people who are tapping your energy? That's some scary stuff. People are so gullible to buy into this stuff. In reality she is a wolf praying on the weak to buy into her pseudo psychological armchair ideas and buy her books. To assume we can deduce or even infer certain types of positive or negative energy from another by folding our arms is a dangerous claim
Stop buying this phoney's books. "I love honesty." Are you for real? Signs of your body responding in relation to a person is not necessarily an indication of another person's character. Just because you are tired doesn't mean it is another person's fault. Just as if you drink soda before you ax murder someone, that doesn't mean the soda caused you to do the ax murder. She's using a post hoc fallacy to trick people like a magician and sell her books. It's time to stop these phonies.
Beautiful work!
she's an intellectual yet very innocent
@drfreebs -heheheheeee... i dont see nuthin wrong wit a lil bump n griiiiind.... of the mind that is! ( And dont you just LOVE Dr. Orloff's response?!?!!! A brilliant woman ;) ) The process itself allows us to expand and grow, as well as to understand the fundamentals of our universal connection to one another and source energy!!!!
@drfreebs My emotions told me yes, but my good sense told me no. I went with my good sense and the energy came over to my decision and was happy. It seems the energy was neutral. If you think illogical things, even subconsciously, your energy goes on that and you feel bad yet so good sometimes. But the energy itself is neutral and goes where you put it, so any positive idea makes you feel good, if those illogical ideas don't take all your energy and emotions. Ah, love is blind, deaf & dumb too.
I have met the consciousness of my body, the emergent combined awareness of the trillions of cells, and they said 'What took you so long?" and we both laughed.... though my 'mind' reacted with fear, and I had to breathe into the body, the heart to center myself..... and then a beautiful sensitivity emerged, that found street life, traffic etc etc a little bit challenging.... I have always HATED cars... now I know why...
Very funny.
What did you think my intentions were?
Yes I was wrong to speculate with the Question; "The way of the unempowered empath, perhaps?". Sorry. It was a sentance too many.
Case in point. I certainly meant no insult. It only became insulting when you took my good intention the wrong way.
Positive and negative do not exist naturally. They are labels attributed to standards that we as individuals set. They are labels of convenience that can cause misunderstanding, (as in this case?), because there is no general agreement upon what is + and -. even in ourselves. I hope Dr Orlorff can clarify. The head says something is good while the gut says something's bad. |
