@glad2teach I learned squaring numbers that end in 5 i think just as easy. Example - 85^2. Since it ends in 5, the last 2 digits are always going to be 25, the first 2, you just mulitply the number by 1 number higher. So 8x9 is 72, and there you have it, 7225.

(x+y)^2 = x^2 + 2xy + y^2 is all you need. This is an elementary school trick, not something you should be proud of to discover lol.
