@MrFlopz GREAT explanation. This is an emotional song for me because I was the all American kid who played sports, was a great guy to everybody, helped any way I could etc. and have carried the burden of Crohn's disease for 20 years. It became the most severe case that 3 different docs have ever seen, as they told me. I have always thought of this song about my situation and also about those people who say 'I will pray for you'. I say "thanks", when really I'd like say "Fuck your god!"

Maynard Keenan tells his heartwrenching story through out many songs. Jimmy, Judith, Marie part 1 and 2, to name a few. Maynard Keenan is by far the greatest song writer to have lived. And I can listen to these songs over and over and cry every time.
